Catherine Alicia Georges, EdD, RN, FAAN, is a nursing leader in health advocacy and education, serving as the Chair of the Department of Nursing at Lehman College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and recently as the immediate past national volunteer president of AARP.

Christina T. Rosenthal, DDS, MPH
Christina T. Rosenthal, DDS, MPH, is the CEO of Paradigm Dental Center and president and founder of The 516 Foundation, Inc. The 516 Foundation’s groundbreaking pipeline program, Determined to be a Doctor Someday (D.D.S.), is designed to improve representation in health professions among underrepresented groups, rural or economically-disadvantaged communities, and first-generation students of any racial background starting with enrichment activities from youth onward. Dr. Rosenthal is also a Senior Fellow of the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity program.

A nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, she is also a contributing columnist for The Washington Post, writing on health policy and public health, and an on-air commentator for CNN as a medical analyst. The author of the critically-acclaimed book on patient advocacy, When Doctors Don’t Listen: How to Avoid Misdiagnoses and Unnecessary Tests , she has a forthcoming memoir to be published in July, Lifelines: A Doctor’s Journey in the Fight for Public Health.
